We hope that these questions and answers will help you understand our site and convince you to use it. We really do want to offer the best online testing service. See how we are trying to accomplish that by reading below.
- Why did you make most of your questions have more than 1 correct answer?
- How can you help me find qualified candidates?
- Why are my candidates scoring much lower on your tests than on your competitors?
- What type of questions will my candidates not find on your system and why not?
- What steps do you take to make sure that your answers are correct to each problem?
- If you say your site is better than your competitors, why is your price cheaper?
- Why don't you offer as many services as your competitors?
- I am lookiing for a job, why should I take an exam on your site without an employer telling me to?
- What prevents me from cheating on your exam and getting a good position?
- Why did you make most of your questions have more than 1 correct answer?
- As a college instructor I found that simple 1 answer multiple choice questions could be guessed and not show the true knowledge of the material. Whereas having 10-20 possible choices where 2 or more are correct has a much better chance of showing whether a candidate really has the knowledge or not. We also have fill in the blank questions also that really allows for more freedom of choices. We hope you will enjoy these types of questions.

- How can you help me find qualified candidates?
- You can set up rules for each technical exam, like...
If a candidate is willing to work in Georgia and took at least 30 advanced questions in C and scored at least 80% then send me his contact information. If a candidate is willing to work in Atlanta and took at least 40 beginner questions in C++ and scored at least 85% then send me his contact information.
In the 1st example you may have multiple clients throughout Georgia looking for advanced C programmers. In the 2nd example you may have 1 client in Atlanta looking for an entry level position in C++. In either case we can help you find the right candidate for the job. Plus you can setup maximums so you do not get too many candidates to help control your cost. Even though email contact is very cheap having hundreds of emails can get costly. So, you can set a maximum number of contact emails.
We hope that this service will be valuable to you.

- Why are my candidates scoring much lower on your tests than on your competitors?
- As you know all or most of my competitors offer multiple choice questions with 1 possible answer. Whereas, I offer multiple answer questions. When you have four or five choices to choose from and you know one is correct you have a 20-25% chance of getting it right if you have no clue whatsoever. But in general you can rule out 1 or 2 choices - so now your chances of getting it right increase up to 50%. This can allow a person to increase his true score dramatically. Not so, with my testing. When you have to get all the choices right the odds of guessing it correctly are dimenished. So, our scores reflect true industry knowledge. So, you can feel confident that if a candidate scored excellent on our test, they really know the material. We hope you will find our tests not only cheaper than our competitors but of much better use.

- What type of questions will my candidates not find on your system and why not?
- They will not find questions like...
What is wrong with the following C statement?
printf("Hello World\n")
The answer of course is that it is missing a semicolon at the end of the statement. We just do not feel that it is worth covering material like this in our exams. We feel it better to focus on programming rather than syntax. We may have some syntax questions but not simple ones like the above. We hope our questions will represent what they will see in the field. So, you feel confident that your candidate will not let you down when you present him/her to the company.

- What steps do you take to make sure that your answers are correct to each problem?
- First a candidate must prove that they know the material. Then they must agree to the pay structure which includes penalties for each wrong question/answer. These penalties are more than the regular pay, so it is vital for each "instructor" to really know his/her material and to be careful to make sure they do not make a mistake. We also pay other experts to find mistakes in these questions/answers. It is with this double pay scale that we hope we will offer the best quality questions/answers for your candidates.

- If you say your site is better than your competitors, why is your price cheaper?
- We are hoping that with a high volume of customers we can make our profit so we hope to keep our price low. Also, are costs are low as we have no physical location. Our only big expense is getting you high quality questions/answers. We are not trying to make a large profit quickly but provide a great service that will eventually lead to continued profits in the future.

- Why don't you offer as many services as your competitors?
- Yes, we realize that our competitors offer more services than we do. We decided to concentrate on just a few services that we do best. Why waste money and time on services that a few recruiters want/use when they really want to test employees to see how they do. This is where we concentrated our efforts. We hope you will find this more to your liking in that it helps keep your costs down. However, if you find a service that we do not have that you feel you really have to have, please send an email to comments@realexams.com and we can see if we can provide it for you.

- I am lookiing for a job, why should I take an exam on your site without an employer telling me to?
- We have employers who have "catch" formulas setup to find people looking for a job. Let's say you are looking for a Visual Basic Programming job anywhere in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee or Lexington, KY. Then any employer looking for Visual Basic candidates in any city in Georgia, Florida, Tennessee or in Lexington, KY will be notified of your score if your score is good enough. Note: To ensure you are found, it is adviseable to take the test most appropriate in your skill level and to take most of the questions in that area. For example: Let's say you are wanting an entry level position in Visual Basic. Then take 40 or more questions in the Easy category and the other quesitons in intermediate. We have recruiters looking for all levels. But, if you are an expert then take most of the questions in the expert category. Note: the higher your score the more recruiters that will see your score and your contact information. So, please do your best but remember no cheating!

- What prevents me from cheating on your exam and getting a good position?
- Honestly, absolutely nothing if the recruiter doesn't make you take the test in their office. But, remember if you cheat you risk yourself being "blackballed". Remember, a recruiter risks his/her reputation everytime they present a "qualified" candidate. If you say you are an expert and you are just a beginning programmer and land a good job. You will be soon be detected and fired. That will be a slap in the face to the recruiter who may lose the chance of presenting another candidate to that company. So, in retaliation he/she could send your name and contact information to all the other recruiters saying don't hire this person. Yes, they may be competitors but they also talk to each other because one recruiter may know a person for a job but have no requirements for that job so they "sell" him/her to another recruiter. So, they can talk to literally thousands of other recruiters. So, it is in your best interest not to inflate your resume or cheat on any online exam. You have a much better chance of keeping a long-term job if you are completely honest than if you lie. Remember, even if you are not an expert yet, a nice long term job can make you into an expert who will be worth a lot more down the line.
